This is the second death due to the Delta Plus variant of Coronavirus in Maharashtra. Earlier on June 13, an 80-year-old woman died from the Delta Plus variant in Ratnagiri district.
Mumbai: Now the Delta Plus variant of Coronavirus has started causing havoc in Maharashtra and the first death due to Delta Plus variant has been reported in the capital Mumbai
The woman, who hails from Mumbai, died on July 27, and the results of genome sequencing of her sample came on Wednesday, confirming the first death from the delta plus variant in Mumbai. She was among the seven patients in whom the delta plus variant of Kovid-19 has been found.
63-year-old woman dies of Delta variant The 63-year-old woman died on July 27. Now two other people who came in contact with him have also been found infected with the Coronavirus Delta Plus variant. The woman had taken both doses of the vaccine According to the Indian Express report, the woman was infected with the Delta Plus variant on July 21 and died on July 27. The surprising thing is that the woman had received both doses of Corona Vaccine. Officials said that the woman had several diseases including diabetes, interstitial lung and obstructive airway. The woman was admitted to the hospital on July 24 and was on oxygen support.
