Jhansi. The railway station could not get enough water on Sunday due to a motor failure of the pump house built on the Betwa Notghat bridge on Independence Day. Due to this many trains could not be filled with water. Coach and platform washing work was also affected.
Railway Station, East and Western Railway Colony, Workshop, AC Loco Shed and Diesel Shed get water supply from the Pump House near Notghat bridge and Garia Dam on Betwa river. On Sunday, a motor installed at Notghat Pump House got damaged. Due to this, all the above areas could not get sufficient amount of water. The station filter house could not fill to full capacity. Due to this, the water could not run forward at a fast speed.Due to this, the coaches of many trains that came to the station could not be filled completely. From 6 in the morning to 10 in the night, the employees work to fill water in the trains coming on the platform. Washing work of coaches in washing siding was also affected. In this regard, Public Relations Officer Manoj Kumar Singh said that due to a motor failure, water could not be received at full capacity. The work of filling water in trains could not be affected.
