The Taliban have said they have forgiven the people of the Afghan government and asked them to return to their work. Even after this the roads are deserted. Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen has said that women will not face any kind of threat in future. They will also be allowed to read. Along with this, he said that he will rule on the basis of Islamic principles. Meanwhile, some women have demanded to be allowed to go back to their cooking, cleaning etc.
