A wall will be built on the side of the railway track to prevent accidents Jhansi. The railways have made a plan to prevent accidents due to animal bites and stones being laid on the tracks on the railway tracks of the division. Under this, a wall will be built along the two thousand kilometer long railway track of the division. After the instructions of the GM of North Central Railway, the officials of the division have started preparations.
On the side of the railway track of Jhansi division, there are incidents of animals coming and biting in front of the train. Due to this there is a risk of major accident. Also the operation of trains is affected. On Saturday, the operation of the train was affected due to animal bite from Himsagar Express. On August 2, the engine of a goods train derailed due to a stone falling on the track near the Betwa bridge.A stone was also hit by Gatimaan Express on Saturday. To prevent such accidents, the railways have planned to build a wall on the side of the track. This work is going on in Agra division. This work will be done first in Gwalior-Morena section of Jhansi division.
The speed of trains will also increase After the wall is built on the side of the track, the speed of trains will also increase. The maximum speed of Gatimaan Express running from Delhi to Jhansi is 160 kmph. This train runs between Delhi and Agra at the prescribed speed limit. Whereas from Agra to Jhansi the train runs at a speed of 130 kmph.
The speed of the train will increase after security arrangements are made on the side of the track. Plans are being made for wall and iron fencing along the track.
