The first test match played between India and England at Trent Bridge in Nottingham ended in a draw. Due to heavy rain on the fifth day, the umpire decided to call off the match. India had to score 157 runs to win on the last day of the Test and the team had 9 wickets left.Earlier, the entire team of England was all out after scoring 303 runs in the second innings and set a target of 209 runs for the victory in front of Team India. In the first innings, the English batsmen knelt in front of the Indian bowlers and the entire team was all out after scoring just 183 runs. In reply, India scored 278 runs.
