Due to this, more than 43 cities of Brazil were covered with snow. Up to 3 inches of snow froze in the cities. The temperature also reached minus 8 degrees. Due to this, the cold has increased in the summer season in Brazil.
At the same time, after the sudden snowfall, people came out of their homes. The Brazilian government's Meteorological Institute says that the country's average temperature in July is around 25 degrees. But the snow storm has broken the 64-year record.States like Mato Grosso do Sul, Sao Paulo, Minas Gerais and Goas may receive heavy snowfall in the next 48 hours. According to Brazilian meteorologists, the last snow storm occurred in Brazil in 1957. Then 4.3 feet of snowfall was recorded in some areas of the country.
