The fire broke out due to a short circuit in the incense stick factory located near Sahjani Tirahe of Gangaghat in Shuklaganj. In this, a female worker and father and son got burnt, who have been admitted to a nearby nursing home. Raw and finished goods worth lakhs, including seven machines making incense sticks, were destroyed by fire.Three fire tenders worked hard to bring the fire under control in two hours. On Tuesday evening at 5 pm, a piece of a burning bulb fell into the chemical used in incense sticks due to a short circuit, which started the fire. Near the purse were kept five mobile phones of her, husband and son, which got burnt in the fire. According to Rajkumari, a loss of about 20 lakh rupees has been caused by the fire.
